Medical fund “Hippocras” gave a free medical diagnostic to the beneficiaries of the Dzegvi rehabilitation center . Medicines were distributed to all the people in need. The action was held on the initiative of the Mtskheta –Mtianeti Governor’s office and the local self government. This charitable activity was organized by humanitarian organization “Helen care “ and the organization “Adamiani”.
Number of medical companies participated in the action: ltd “Aversi firm”, ltd “PSP-Rikhter” ,ltd “Iveri-Medi”.

The Head of the President’s Administration -David Tkeshelashvili and the Minister of the Regional Development and Infrastructure –Ramaz Nikolaishvili visited Mtskheta –Mtianeti Region on the 1-st of March. They had a meeting with the Governor of the Region-Tsezar Chocheli, heads of the local Boards, chairmen of the local Municipalities and the deputies to the Parliament. Participants of the meeting resumed the previous year and planned projects for the coming.

On march 10 the meeting of the local NGOs and UN representatives was hold in the village Ananuri ( Dusheti Municipality) in the conference hall of the restaurant “Ananuri”.The aim of the conference was strengthening of Georgian public society, intensify relationship between NGOs and local and state authorities, also presentations of the projects, prepared by the participants. The meeting was held with the attendance of the Governor of the Mtskheta –Mtianeti region and all the leaders of the regional municipalities.
Mtskheta-Mtianeti region mostly includes mountainous districts :Mtiuleti,Pshav-Khevsureti, Gudamakari ,Kazbegi. Thus the problem of electricity, natural gas is the most painful issue for them.Natural disasters are common and the great number of population are out of living conditions there. Unimployment is also topic that longs to solve.
We should also mention that the regions , mentioned above are bordering sites and staying of locals in their homeland is crucial in the terms of the national security.
Local authority is actively engaged to find out the way ,but existing funds and recourses are not sufficient to answer the issues. Involvement of State and donor organizations will be very helpful. All the natural resources should be used properly :development of agriculture, realization of power energy ,restoration and popularization of historical monuments ,utilization of recreation zones and holiday resorts and development of tourism will be great advantage. All the issues, mentioned above will increase the income of the locals ,that will encourage them not to leave their homes and become the equal member of democratic civil society.
Administration of the Mtskheta-Mtianeti Region keeps close relationship with the Department of the Monument’s Defense, Agency of the Protected Areas ,Department of the Border Issues, Tourism Department and other organizations to resolve such problematic matters without delay.
