Completed and ongoing projects

In 2006

• central roads paved with asphalt in Mtskheta

• 30 (thirty) apartment buildings painted in Mtksheta .

• capital repair of Mtskheta secondary school №1 completed.

• capital repair of secondary school completed in Dighomi village, summer, 2006 complying with modern standards

• water supplies resumed for 100 families in Dighomi village.

• canned food factory constructed in Mtskheta processing 30,000 tons of fruit and vegetables monthly

• 20 million USD invested in Ksani glass factory for new furnace construction.

• construction of “Reno” service center employing 300 locals

• construction of sport and health improvement complex started in Mtskheta

• the following projects were implemented to improve the appearance of Mtskheta :

- the bridge railing was replaced

- shrubbery was planted in the central streets

- fencing was replaced in the central streets

- four squares were renovated

- broken lamp posts were replaced on central roads

- pave the access roads to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral on the central boulevard.

• gas supplies resumed in the village.

• water pipeline constructed in the village of Bitsmendi

• repair works of water reservoir completed.

• gym construction completed.

• gas supplies resumed in four villages

• water supplies resumed in 9 villages.

• street lights completely renovated in Mtskheta.
