This year on September 9-12 Tusheti National Park hosted a training tour for the residences of the adjacent area of the Kazbegi National Park. The meeting was organized by The Mtskheta-Mtianeti Governor’s Office and supported by The Agency of The Protected Areas. The teaching was carried out with the attendance of the Kazbegi population(Administration of the national Park, representatives of the local Government, local environmental NGOs, private sector and others).Representatives of The Mtskheta-Mtianeti Governor’s Office and The Agency of The Protected Areas were also the participants of the project with the members of TJS/RECC. . . .

Public celebration Mtskhetoba was held in Mtskheta on the initiative of the Mtskheta –Mtianti Governor’s Office and Mtskheta Municipality Council. Great number of events were conducted regarding the day. Folk ensembles from Mtskheta and neighboring regions took part in the celebration activities.
After special service conducted in the Svetitskhoveli cathedral visitors moved to the streets where they had an opportunity to watch the events holding there concerning the very day. Celebration activities in the ancient capital of Georgia were underway till late at night.
Construction projects that are planned to be finished at the end of the next year were presented on that day. The list of the target project contains:”Saqpatenti”, Mtskheta Museum, Regional Police ,a bridge and administrational offices. The Governor of The Region Tsezar Chocheli and Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure-Ramaz Nikolaishvili opened the construction project presentation with other members of the government entities.
Public schools and culture centers from Mtskhata presented their Autumn exposition and performances. Cartoon characters performed their play for children .Sport competitions in wrestling ,table tennis ,volley ball, mini football, chess and backgammon were also active on that day .Masters of folk craft took part in fair exhibition of folk crafts-felt thick ,ceramic ,painting .Promenades of the people in the streets were also done. Autumn harvest was presented to public.
Three stages ware installed in the main street of the city, where representatives of different folk ensembles presented their shows.
Visitors were served Georgian National cuisine on the Teatroni(public square) area.
Famous Georgian celebrities were participants of the concert which finished that special day. The said concert was held on the vicinity of the Svetirtskhoveli cathedral.
