Georgian Fund for Strategy and International Monitoring organized the visit of representatives of The Rada of The Ukraine and Lvovi Regional Administration.The event was supported by the Canadian International Bureau of Education.
The aim of the visit is to get knowledge about Georgia’s successful experiments in the sphere of business.
Visitors visited regions of Kakheti and Mtskheta-Mtianeti.

Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure visited rehabilitated building of Tianeti Municipality Administration. After appreciating the new building the head of the ministry gave Tianeti Municipality staff two new vehicles for refusing collectors. Soon the municipality will receive 100 dust pots. The equipment was bought by the ministry of regional development and infrastructure in the terms of the “The Project of Municipal Service “, funds were allocated by the Georgian Government and the Bank of Asian Development.

Medical fund “Hippocras” gave a free medical diagnostic to the beneficiaries of the Dzegvi rehabilitation center . Medicines were distributed to all the people in need. The action was held on the initiative of the Mtskheta –Mtianeti Governor’s office and the local self government. This charitable activity was organized by humanitarian organization “Helen care “ and the organization “Adamiani”.
Number of medical companies participated in the action: ltd “Aversi firm”, ltd “PSP-Rikhter” ,ltd “Iveri-Medi”.
“Counterpart International” ,”Anchor”,”Ext-Georgia”,”Aiard”(organizations granted by the American State Department . . .

The Head of the President’s Administration -David Tkeshelashvili and the Minister of the Regional Development and Infrastructure –Ramaz Nikolaishvili visited Mtskheta –Mtianeti Region on the 1-st of March. They had a meeting with the Governor of the Region-Tsezar Chocheli, heads of the local Boards, chairmen of the local Municipalities and the deputies to the Parliament. Participants of the meeting resumed the previous year and planned projects for the coming.
In 2010 the Ministry of Infrastructure implemented 644 projects in the terms of “Advocate the Village” and “From the Projects to be implemented in the Regions”.6.408.000 were funded for their realization. Different kind of activities were done to better conditions to the villagers: irrigation system and the supply of the potable water was managed, roads were improved, nursery schools were restored and gyms were set up.
The Minister of Infrastructure noted that 40 million laris will be invested in the terms of “Support the Village” in the coming year and 60 million laris will be allocated “From the Projects to be implemented in The Regions”.
