Great concert was held in Tianeti center of culture, on the 30-th of November. The slogan of the concert was «I love Tianeti”.
Famous Georgian singers, such as Salome Bakuradze, Kate Orjonikidze, Nini Shermandini ,Tika Makhaldiani, Nini Tsiklauri ,Paata Tediashvili and Beqa Broladze participated in the show. Tamuna Gomarteli led the event.
All the guests were given commercial attribute-T-shirts and flags with the sign-“I love Tianeti”.
On the very day it was founded the tradition of annual contest-“I love Tianeti”.All the applicants will be able to participate in the competition.
“I love Tianeti”-was the motto of the concert held in Tianeti.

On December 2, 2010 Population of Dusheti was presented the budget priorities, also plans in the terms of education, health ,infrastructure and social welfare. The presentation was reported by the Minister of Finance-Kakha Baindurashvili and the Chairman of budget-finance committee-Zurab Melikishvili.
The budget presentation was held in Dusheti center of culture, with the attendance of the Governor of Mtskheta –Mtianeti Region-Tsezar Chocheli and other members of local Municipality.
The subject of debates between locals and the minister(that took place after budget presentation) was the budget of further projects that is to be implemented in Mtskheta.

In November 2010, The British humanitarian NGE “HALO Trust” completed mineclearance of the former military base at Mtskheta. Since October 2009, HALO’s mechanical clearance teams have been working on the site clearing landmines and other explosive of war.
The mines at Mtskheta were laid in early 1990’s to defend the military engineering stores base that existed there at that time. Whilst some mineclearance was condcted following the closure of the base in 1993, mines remained and there have been several . . .

The administration of Mtskheta-Mtianeti Region and the local Municipality held an action dedicated to the environmental issues-surrounding area of the Jvari Monastery was carefully cleaned.
Schoolchildren of “Zahesi “ public school participated in the activity coupled with the members of Mtskheta-Mtianeti Governor’s Administration and local Municipality.
The site, where, situation was lamentable was cleaned with the help of the local Utility Service Agency. The one provided the action with refuse collectors.
Those kind of activities were conducted in all villages of the Mtskheta Municipality with the participating of teachers and students of the local Public schools.

Representatives of The Tianeti Municipality and The Board held a meeting with the local population and gave them information about activities that were especially important for the site and were implemented in 2010.
Rehabilitation of roads and system of running water was urgent in the region. Outdoor electrification was installed .Number of schools and kinder gardens were restored. They changed roofs of several buildings, squares and parks were also constructed with attractions for kids.
Almost all the villages are provided with ceaseless electricity and gas.
The Chairman of the Municipality presented the audience the budget project of 2011 and all the priorities planned for the coming year. The meeting was held with the attendance of the representatives of The Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development.

On the 13-th of January,representatives of the Mtskheta-Mtianeti Governor’s administration and the leaders of the Mtskheta Municipality visited the Rehabilitation Center located in the village Dzegvi at the Monastery(convent) after ST.George of Mtatsminda. They provided the center with all kinds of productions, needed. Currently, there are 60 dwellers in the center,among them 16 are kids. Most part of older patients are disable and have some psychological problems. The center was set up in 1995, but the rehabilitation center . . .
Representatives of Mtskheta-Mtianeti Governor’s Administration congratulated the New Year celebration on behalf of the Governor to the dwellers of Dzegvi rehabilitation center.

On January 22 Khevsurian party was held in Gudauri on the initiative of Mtskheta –Mtianeti Governor’s Administration,Gudauri Developing Company and tourist company “Tebuloturi”.
The visitors and holidaymakers enjoyed the music of local performers as well as the other Georgian singers and ensembles that presented their repertoire, renewed on the base of Khevsurian tunes. Newly born Khevsurian poets recited their rhymes. . . .

A memorandum between Tbilisi State Art Academy and Mtskheta Municipality was signed on February 10,2011.
On February 10 .2011 the chairman of The Mtskheta Municipality Andro Kalandadze and the rector of Tbilisi Qutateladze State Art Academy signed a memorandum.
Participants of the agreement decided to have close relationship about development of Mtskheta Art Space , they also determined to support young generation, especially those ,who are so active in this sphere.
The aim of the agreement is to open salons to sell crafts created by the students of the Academy. The concord also contains issues about establishment of the educational center on the territory of Mtskheta. The center will include Art Center ,campus ,exhibition room to hold fares summer schools and symposium.
It’s planned to create a working group to reach the goals designed in the terms of the agreement and coordinate the exchange of information.
