On July 29 charitable action was held on the territory of the Mtskheta culture center. The event was held on the initiative of the Mtskheta-Mtianeti Givernor’s office and international charitable organizations “LDS-Charity” and “Adamiani” . In terms of the project,32 disabled persons were provided with the wheelchairs and other essential material.10 beneficieries were able to attend the meeting,but the rest of them were sent all the necessary things.

The event began on August 6 at 12 p.m. and ended on the following day .The ceremony was held with the accompany of folk ensembles and poets from all the municipalities of the Mtskheta-Mtianeti Region. The day was also special as it was held blessing ceremony of the brewery, which is one of the beautiful ceremonies .Horse racing, wrestling competition were also were interesting occasions. Khridoli( ancient kind of Georgian wrestling) was presented to the auditory.
A very striking concert was one of the attributes of the celebration. Khevsurian sounds and pieces of poetry were pleasant to listen, that made the day more attractive and pleasant.” The Theatre of Movement” showed their performance. Final stage of the concert was a very stunning bonfire and a firework.
Folk festival “Shatiloba2011” was staged on August 6-7 .Initiators of the event were Mtskheta-Mtianeti Governor’s office and Dusheti Municipality
