Mirzaoba (March 2) – the birthday of the famous Georgian poet Mirza Gelovani has been celebrated as a public holiday in Tianeti District for the last ten years. On that day, poets and writers assemble in his House-Museum and various cultural events and evenings are held dedicated to poetry.
Archiloba (July 4) – celebrated in the village of Nadokra (Tianeti District). There is King Archil’s tomb inside the church built by him on a high slope of the forest in the 8th century.July 4th is regarded as the day of King Archil.
Tianeti
